  • The service is not an alternative to professional counseling, therapy, coaching, or suicide prevention services. 
  • Clients experiencing suicidal thoughts will be encouraged to contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or equivalent professional resources for assistance.

Limitations Of Service

  • Call a Friend does not provide medical, mental health, marital, legal, or financial advice or offer coaching or counseling. 
  • The service shall not be responsible for any damage including personal injury or wrongful death,  business losses or interruptions, and relationship or health issues

Service Of Minors

  • Call a Friend provides listening services to young adults and mothers who require support. 
  • Individuals under the age of 18 must obtain prior consent from their legal guardian to use this service. 
  • Call a friend will not assume any legal liability if the caller has not obtained such consent.

Liability Disclaimer

  • By scheduling a session with Call a Friend, the client acknowledges that we are only a listening service provider, not a counseling, therapy, or advisory service. 
  • The client agrees to protect Call a Friend from any legal actions or losses arising from using the service.

Confidentiality

  • Call a Friend is dedicated to keeping its customers’ privacy safe. 
  • Personal information shared during the sessions will remain confidential until and unless disclosure is required to comply with the law. 
  • Call a Friend will recommend contacting emergency services if a client discusses the intent to harm another person.

Privacy Policy

  • All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties.
  • Call A Friend will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.
  • Appropriate steps are taken to ensure data privacy and security through hardware and software methodologies, but the website cannot guarantee full security of online disclosures.
  • Call A Friend is not responsible for the privacy policies of linked websites. Different rules regarding personal information collection and usage may apply.
  • Policies and Terms & Conditions may be updated occasionally to meet standards. Customers are encouraged to review them frequently.

Pricing and Currency

  • We do not trade with or provide services to individuals or entities in OFAC or other sanctioned countries.

Restrictions On Services

  • Depending on the issuing bank, refunds may take 10 to 45 days to process.

Retention of Records

Cardholders must retain a copy of their transaction records and the policies and rules outlined on callafriend.co.

Secure Payment Handling

  • The merchant will not share, disclose, or pass any debit/credit card details to third parties. All payment information is securely processed in compliance with applicable data protection standards.

Refund Policy

  • Sessions must be canceled at least 6 hours in advance via email to be eligible for consideration.
  • Cancellation requests made less than 6 hours prior are subject to management approval.

  • Refunds will be credited back to the same card used for payment.
  • The refund process may take up to 30 days to complete.
  • If no prior email is sent to reschedule, the missed session will be considered paid for with no refund.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a client is being rude, disrespectful, threatening, harassing, or overly sexual during a session, Call a Friend reserves the right to terminate the call instantaneously. 
  • No refund will be given for any call that has been terminated 
  • The service retains the right to refuse service to any client at its discretion.
  • To request a cancellation, please send an email at least 6 hours in advance of the scheduled session. Cancellation requests sent less than 6 hours prior will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and approval will be at the sole discretion of management.
  • Users who fail to attend the scheduled call on time will have their session marked as a no-show, and repeated instances may result in their number being blocked and the inability to register with the same email address.

Call Recording

  • All sessions conducted as part of the befriending service may be recorded via phone calls or Google Meet. These recordings are strictly for session verification, quality assurance, and staff training purposes. 
  • No recordings are made directly on our website.

Session Booking

  • Clients have the option to book the session on the same day by sending an email to the designated service address.
  • Booking confirmation is subject to availability, and clients will be notified via email regarding the status of their session request.

Pricing and Description

  • It costs AED 210 for a 30-minute session
  • It costs  AED 300 for a 60-minute session
  • Fees are charged at the time of booking

Redirection Policy

To ensure compliance with banking approval standards and to enhance user experience, Call A Friend FZ-LLC strictly prohibits redirection to external URLs from the website.
